We meticulously pick the materials we use in our garments, ranging from TENCELTM Lyocell, REFIBRATM, Global Recycle Standard (GRS) fabrics, Vegan Labelled Cupro, eco-responsible Viscose and Rayon. Plus, we are determined not to cause to any more carbon emissions through our fabric-sourcing by using dead stock materials. We rescue the deadstock fabrics before they are thrown away and turn them into beautiful dresses. As MUUN, we are happy to be learning and growing everyday through continuous efforts for a better world. We believe there is a long way to go in our sustainability journey and we recognise how far there is to go.

Ethical Production

We have been pursuing the goal to become a brand that is loved by the Earth, so we are under the ongoing process of learning more about human rights best practices, employee welfare and environmental awareness. Our production teams have been with us from the very beginning, and understand the importance, contribution and value of our sustainability ethos. Our brand is connected to the place, provenance and people behind it. All Muun garments are produced in a small, family-run atelier in Istanbul that is supported by us ethically and fairly. We have built an amazing relationship with our wonderful manufacturer thanks to;

-Caring for them from day 1,
-Appreciating the value of their work to our brand every single day, -Endeavouring to better their working conditions,
-Visiting them regularly to ensure they are happy.

We pay fair wages based on the average salaries in the country to provide fair working conditions for our craftspeople. Besides, we give them large lead times for production to make sure that our workers can manage the orders within their working day without needing to work for extra hours.

Design

We believe that good design is timeless, innovative and durable. All the MUUN garments are designed to be taught investment pieces that will not wear out or go out of fashion for years as they are made with exquisite craftsmanship to be worn over long years. Made by craftsman with more than 15 years of experience, the garments reflect design aspects that not only reflect the current fashion trends, but also exciting designs for your forever wardrobe. We aim to expand the lifetime of our garments by providing the most durable materials and using high quality tailoring.
